First Code Push to ToriOS

Written on June 3, 2016

I made my first code push to ToriOS today.

The code was a simple installation script, but I don’t count it as one. I think of it as a real success.

Firefox didn’t have a proper installation script. And I wrote one myself.

Here’s the code:

firefoxINST(){ case $DIST in Arch) COMMAND=”bash -c ‘sudo pacman -S firefox’”;; Debian) DEPS=”libasound2 libatk1.0-0 libc6 libcairo2 libdbus-1-3 libdbus-glib-1-2 libevent-2.0-5 libffi6 libfontconfig1 libfreetype6 libgcc1 libgdk-pixbuf2.0-0 libglib2.0-0 libgtk2.0-0 libhunspell-1.3-0 libpango-1.0-0 libstartup-notification0 libstdc++6 libx11-6 libxcomposite1 libxdamage1 libxext6 libxfixes3 libxrender1 libxt6 zlib1g fontconfig procps debiannutils libsqlite3-0” COMMAND=”bash -c ‘echo "deb http://mozilla.debian.net/ jessie-backports firefox-release"| sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/firefox.list && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y install $DEPS && wget -O - http://mozilla.debian.net/archive.asc | sudo apt-key add - && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -t install jessie-backports firefox’”;; Slack);; *);;

Take me home.
